what we process

We store a salted hash of the IP address used for a listing, click deduplication, or abuse report. It is pseudonymous data, not anonymous data. We do not store raw IP addresses or referrer URLs.

why and how long

IP hashes support one counted redirect per listing per 24 hours, submission/report limits, and abuse investigation. Click events are deleted after 30 days and reports after 90 days. Listings remain until removed or hidden.

visitor counter

The "online" and "visits" counts on /stats come from a presence row keyed by the same hashed IP, storing only that hash and a timestamp — purged after 24 hours. Because those hashes are deleted, a visit is counted once per hashed IP per 24 hours and a return on a later day counts again — we cannot tell that it is the same person, by design. The running total that survives past 24 hours is just an anonymous number, not tied to any hash.
